Business Development Specialist

To identify, develop and follow through new business opportunities, maintain healthy business relationships with existing clients, and identify new products and brands representations while creating new opportunities to expand the business footprint.

Main Duties

  • Set up a business plan per product and achieve the targets and growth potential approved by the Managing Director and suppliers.
  • Perform analysis to understand market trends, competition landscape and provide actionable insights to ensure we're driving toward the best possible outcome.
  • Contribute on setting up competitive suppliers’ agreements and improve the negotiation of financing terms and conditions.
  • Develop and implement strategies for new services and products that will result in sales
  • Prospect for potential clients and convert them into increased business opportunities
  • Engage internal and external contacts
  • Achieve departmental goals and tasks in line with key performance indicators
  • Supply agreed reports and information to key partners and suppliers as well as to the Managing Director. 
  • Ensure effective relationships are maintained with partners, suppliers and clients.
  • Provide the Finance Manager and the Managing Director with detailed calculations for quotations approval as well as all required data to follow up the project profitability.
  • Ensure professional quotations are submitted to clients and followed up accordingly.
  • Ensure that client complaints are always handled and resolved in a professional way.
  • Follow up and guarantee the full respect of all the contractual obligations towards the customers
  • In liaison with partners manage and organize marketing and new sales channels, implement the plan and organize training.
  • Maintain all Company social media tools to ensure Company profile is professionally always promoted.
  • Organize and participate in trade-fairs as a Company representative.
  • Contribute to all other duties as and when requested by Management.
